"I never suffered from dry skin until I moved to South Florida from New York. Sure, New York winters were generally unkind, but overall my skin remained smooth and in tact throughout the year. When I arrived in Miami, I spent more time going out at night (wearing more makeup than I should). The overuse of cosmetics dried out my skin and damaged its natural barrier. My face began to flake and it was noticeable—but I was unwilling to sacrifice my new nightly routine.
I thought if I applied lotion, that all my problems would be solved. But when my dry skin persisted, I researched further. I learned that the skin is the body’s largest organ and that it requires vitamins and nutrients to function properly. From there I began applying different serums underneath my lotion, which nourish the skin and make it healthy enough to efficiently absorb moisture.
My skin regained its luster and I found several great serums in the process of experimenting with different brands. Some left my skin slightly greasy; others felt great (i.e. Dr. Dennis Gross and Amarte products). Recently I tried Epionce’s new Intense Defense Anti-Aging + Repair Serum formula because it is the first on the market to combine all five vitamins (A, B, C, D and E) to give the skin everything it needs to function properly. The formula works great, feels amazing, and absorbs into the skin instantly so that my face is make up-ready in no time."
