Dr Hilary Allan
Dr Hilary Allan is well established as an expert in the field of medical aesthetics and is followed and quoted by beauty editors nationwide. Practicing for over twenty years, Dr Allan is one of the foremost female aesthetic medical practitioners. She has been named in the top ten cosmetic doctors in the UK by the Evening Standard and The Daily Telegraph. Qualifying as a medical doctor in 1984 at London's St Bartholomew's Hospital, Dr Allan practiced as a GP until 2000 when she decided to devote herself full-time to her now thriving aesthetic clinic, Woodford Medical.
Having always taken a special interest in skin health, Dr Allan leads a team of highly trained advanced therapists who deliver effective treatments and skincare regimes to improve various skin concerns and reverse the damaging ageing process. She remains committed to keeping abreast of the aesthetic industry evolutions and regularly attends master clinics for like-minded professionals so she can deliver the latest techniques and advances to her clients.
With her clients well-being uppermost in her thoughts Dr Allan is passionate about creating a natural appearance that enhances their looks and improves their confidence and self-esteem. Despite working in this area for more than twenty years she seeks further education with her relevant peers to enhance her skills ensuring that her treatments and knowledge of skin welfare, are all contemporary enabling her to deliver the best advice to her clients.
Dr Mervyn Patterson
Dr Mervyn Patterson, along with Dr Allan, was also named in the top ten medical aesthetic doctors in the UK by the Evening Standard and The Daily Telegraph. He is regularly contacted by leading newspapers and magazines for his professional opinion on skincare products and is dedicated to "getting it right" for each individual person.
Qualifying as a medical doctor in 1984 at The London Hospital Medical School, Dr Patterson practiced as a GP until 2000 when he decided to devote himself full-time to his company Woodford Medical which he runs very successfully with his business partner, Dr Hilary Allan.
Dr Patterson has been working in the field of aesthetic medicine over more than twenty years and is one of the foremost, pioneering aesthetic medical practitioners in Europe. He passionately believes that good skincare is the foundation to achieving healthy, beautiful looking skin.
In conjunction with co-running a business, Dr Patterson with his wealth of industry knowledge, is constantly in demand by journalists for his expert opinion on the latest beauty and skincare trends within the media. He is regularly asked to be guest speaker at ACE (Aesthetic Conference and Exhibition) and share his skin health knowledge and experience with the audience of doctors and professionals.
